goodbye squirrel babies!

I thought y'all might wonder what happened to them :))


Turns out their happy nest was actually INSIDE the eaves of our porch. So there was a dilemma - the wildlife rescue people said to return them to the nest, and put up a barrier so they don't fall out. Um, but hello - that means eventually we'd have 5 teenagers trapped in our porch, right? RIGHT! So, that IS what we decided to do ;-P 'cause we're just that weak in the face of wee twitching whiskers...

The real fun will begin in a few weeks. I might start writing my etsy descriptions to the tune of happy chattering from all porch plant shelves before long...
